This Negotiable Request for Proposal (the “NRFP”) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) for the provision of weekly curbside collection services of a new green bin (organics) program, either weekly or bi-weekly curbside collection of garbage, purchase, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of green bins (carts), and hauling waste from seven (7) transfer station sites throughout the County for final disposal at the Peterborough County City Waste Management Facility (“PCCWMF”). More detailed requirements are set out in Part 5 Specifications Schedule. This is a Negotiable RFP. It is conceivable that these events will not occur due to the discretion of the County and/or any proponent not to proceed, as there is no legally binding obligation on the County or any Proponent to proceed. See Section 2 (Not a Tender, No “Contract A”/ “Contract B”). |
