This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) for the provision of a Watershed Plan. County Council has identified through its Strategic Plan its desire to proceed with a Watershed Plan encompassing the entire County. It is envisioned that this will be a high level plan that will form the basis for proceeding with more detailed sub-watershed plans in the future (through future RFP’s). More detailed requirements are set out in Part 5, Specifications Schedule. This is a non-binding RFP. It is conceivable that these events will not occur due to the discretion of the County and/or any proponent to not proceed, as there is no legally binding obligation on the County or any Proponent to proceed. See section 2.4 (Not a Tender, No “Contract A”/ “Contract B”). |
