This Joint Request for Proposals is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) on behalf of the Township of North Kawartha, for services for an internet/telephone and paper ballot voting system for the Township of Asphodel-Norwood, Township of Cavan Monaghan, Township of Douro-Dummer, Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, Township of North Kawartha, Township of Otonabee South Monaghan, Township of Selwyn, and the Municipality of Trent Lakes (the “Municipalities”). Wherein “County” shall mean “Municipalities” throughout. The County of Peterborough will not be participating in this joint request for proposal. Of the eight (8) Municipalities, only two municipalities, Trent Lakes and Havelock-Belmont-Methuen are interested in paper ballot voting on the day of the election, the other six municipalities will only be using internet and telephone voting methods. The intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to assist the Municipalities in understanding existing internet/telephone and paper ballot voting systems that make the voting experience more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly, while maintaining the integrity and security of the election process. More detailed requirements are set out in the Specifications Schedule. |
