This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) for the provision of Seasonal Collection of Curbside and Depot Leaf and Yard Materials within Peterborough County. The curbside collection program currently occurs seven (7) times per year in the following settlement areas:
Maps of the current collection areas are provided in Appendix B. The County will also be working with three (3) townships to provide collection services at their transfer stations and/or landfills. The service provisions are described in Part 5 Specifications Schedule. The contract will begin March 1, 2027, and the first curbside collections are scheduled for April 2027. The term of the contract will be March 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029, with the option to renew for up to two (2) one (1) year contract extensions. More detailed requirements are set out in Part 5 Specifications Schedule. |
