The Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) is requesting tender submissions for the replacement of Burnt Dam Bridge.

The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to:

• Remove existing superstructure including timber bridge deck, curbs and railings, steel truss structure, steel stringers, etc.;
• Remove and reconstruct bearing pedestals / modify ballast walls;
• Install new Acrow panel (“Bailey”) bridge including timber bridge deck, curbs and railings, steel truss structure, steel stringers, etc.;
• Remove existing timber railing system and install new steel beam guide rail and end treatments.
