This Request for Tenders (the “RFT”) is issued by The Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) for the provision of the rehabilitation of Hickey Bridge over Sawer Creek.

The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to:

• Establish traffic control and detour to accommodate construction under a full closure;
• Remove existing precast concrete hollowcore slab bridge;
• Construct new single span concrete structure, including steel binwall cribbing, concrete footing, precast slab girders, cast-in-place concrete deck and curbs, and open metal traffic barriers.
• Remove existing asphalt on approaches and place new hot mix asphalt.
• Reconstruction of approaches.
• Grading.
• Steel beam guide rail and end treatments on approaches.
