This Request for Tenders (the “RFT”) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) and the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen (the “Township”) for the provision of the Reconstruction of County Road 48 (George Street), within the Village of Havelock, being from Quebec Street easterly approximately 600m through to George Street Park, as well as the Reconstruction of Quebec Street, being from Highway No. 7, northerly approximately 125m to George Street. The general scope of works shall include, but not be limited to the removal and replacement of buried infrastructure services such as, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and watermains, as well as the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutters, granular road base construction, and hot mix asphalt paving. The Successful Bidder for this RFT will enter into separate agreements with each the County and the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen. Where this RFT refers to the County specifically it is understood that the same terms, conditions, and requirements apply to the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen. Each the County and the Township will be responsible to issue a Purchase Order to the Successful Bidder for the specific location. Invoices must be sent to the County or Township identified. Additional detailed requirements are set out in Part 5, Specifications Schedule. |
